In what use case should I need this 12mm thru axle kit?
An axle adapter kit will make your bike compatable with AddBike Carry'Dog or AddBike B-Back Box Pet that your bike fork spacing measurement is 100mm or 110mm then you will likely need this kit.

This kit consists of two adapters and replaces the original ones of the AddBike+. They are used to insert the bike’s Ø12mm thru axle (for 100mm/3.9″ to 110mm/4.3″ centre distance) to install the AddBike +.
